16 years and only one broken bone

Yesterday was my 16th wedding anniversary. I woke up around six am and was chatting with Steve. I asked him his evening went the night before and if he had any plans during the day. I had plans on taking him out for breakfast at this awesome breakfast restaurant. About 6:30 Steve looked over at me and said "I think Steven broke his arm". I was shocked that nobody said anything the day before, or even called me at work. I would have come home and taken him to the hospital right away. We got up, got dressed and Steven and I went to the local ER. After three very long hours later we walked out with a splint on Steven's arm, a diagnosis of a hairline fracture in the growth plate, and an appointment for the next Thursday to get a cast put on.
I got home around 10:45 and was so very hungry. Took Steve out to the cool restaurant called Eggscrepe. My breakfast was awesome.
I could have thought of a better way to spend my anniversary, but I spent time with little Steven and had fun with him.

A clean house

A clean house is the bain of my existence. My hubby's mom is a neat freak and her house is never ever messy. I guess Steve wants that from me. What a big shock when he got me!
I have tried to keep a clean house. I have done a good until the last few years. Working with four kids just doesn't help.
It is impossible to work full time, spend time with my family, try to get private time in, cook/make food, and clean a house.

I just spent about 4 hours today cleaning. I doubt Steve will notice when he gets home.

April 13

One day off. I was going to have a quiet day enjoying my family.

Spent the morning playing outside with the youngest two and Steve. Took Abby for lots of rides in her 'car'. She loves it. I only wish there was something for her feet to rest on.

Steve wanted to get adventurous. He got out the wheelchair and wheeled around for quite a while. He was even being the resident bike mechanic!

My neighbour even tried to wheel Abby away! Troublemaker!

I love spending days like this. It makes life feel so perfect.
